Equipment
- Mixing bowl
- Sharp knife
- Chopping board
- Grater
- Grill
- Fish slice
Ingredients
- 1 onion
- 500g lean minced beef
- 5ml mustard (optional)
- Handful of fresh parsley
- Black pepper
Simple steps
- Pre-heat the grill to a medium heat
- Peel and grate the onion into the mixing bowl
- Finely chop the parsley and add to the onion
- Add the minced beef, black pepper and mustard (if using)
- With clean hands, mix the ingredients well
- Divide the mixture into 6 even balls
- Place each ball onto the chopping board and flatten into a burger shape
- Wash your hands after touching the raw beef
- Using the fish slice place each burger onto the grill pan
- Cook for about 5 minutes and turn
- Make sure the meat is fully cooked before serving – there should be no red meat in the thickest part of the burger
You can serve with a roll and salad, or with our tasty potato wedges!
