Brazilian avocado salad

  • Sharp knife
  • Chopping board
  • Mixing bowl
  • Mixing spoon

Ingredients

  • 1 avocado
  • 1 red onion
  • 10 cherry tomatoes
  • 198g can sweetcorn (drained)
  • 1/2 lime (for juicing)
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • Black pepper for seasoning

Simple steps

  1. Slice the tomatoes in half
  2. Finely chop the onion
  3. Chop the avocado into bite-size pieces
  4. Add the avocado, tomatoes, onion and sweetcorn to the mixing bowl
  5. Drizzle over the oil and squeeze the juice from half the lime
  6. Add a sprinkling of black pepper and mix together

Alternative:

  • Spice up the salad by sprinkling either chilli powder or smoked paprika!
