Cook Together Eat Together is a free cooking club offering the chance to meet new people, cook new things and learn new recipes for residents of Birmingham aged 50 and over. The project is funded by Birmingham City Council and delivered by Groundwork West Midlands.
Who is it for?
If you live in Birmingham, are aged 50 and over, and want to know how to cook and eat in a healthier way while meeting new people, then our cooking clubs are for you!
Cooking club information
- Free 6 week cooking clubs (one session per week)
- Sessions taking place in venues in the following areas: Hall Green, Hodge Hill and Yardley
- Morning and afternoon cooking clubs are available from Monday to Friday
Each week we will cook a healthier three course meal using fresh ingredients which we will sit and eat together. We will help prove that eating a healthier, balanced diet can be easy, fun, cost effective and most importantly – tasty!!
The cooking club leader will cover a range of food topics through fun activities and games. It is a great chance to meet new people and an opportunity to share recipe tips and ideas.
